Compton Wedding at Parkway Heights and Hood Home

A few favorites from Nate and Astrids wedding at Parkway Heights United Methodist Church  in Hattiesburg and reception at the Warren and Carolyn Hood home in Hattiesburg. The church entrance has been recently renovated by Albert and Associates Architects of Hattiesburg. The reception was held at the Hood home which has been rebuilt and expanded (about 2 years of work). The home was featured in Architectural Digest and I think Readers Digest. The whole place gives you a sense of richness. My favorite
two areas was the winding staircase which took the builder a year to complete and the infinity swimming pool which had a cascading line of water which swished in a total sense of peace and serenity not to forget

the pool house which was very luxuriously furnished. Great backdrop for a wedding reception with perfect weather for an indoor/outdoor reception. The band from Nashville was great who performed on a stage with a lit dance floor and clear tent top with a large chandelier in the center. The food was available at three stations and was great. Wonderful people (the Hoods) and Astrid and Nate the bride and groom. The freshest flowers ever were prepared by John David Williams and Blooms of Hattiesburg.
