Wedding Photojournalism at Artie Rawls Photography

I have been a photojournalists for throughout college at USM and later before I started my business at www.artierawlsphotography.com in Hattiesburg, MS. Wedding photojournalism is natural storytelling without a lot of artificial posing and lighting. The goal is to show the story in the picture in a powerful way. The use of composition, the exact moment
or decisive moment, the lighting, exposure all working to reveal a truth that can stop you in your tracks. If a photographer has a passion for the story or truth they will look relentlessly for these moments. There will be a richness of these truths that the viewer can sense. It can look effortless to the viewer but require a lot of concentration for the photographer to capture. At www.artierawlsphotography.com he has has been working to capture these moments for over 20 years. He also posts his favorite moments from weddings on Facebook under Artie Rawls and Artie Rawls Photography which you can like to view regularly. This brides dad was very emotional the day of his daughters wedding and suffered two months after the wedding from a fatal heart attack.
