Rawls Family Lake Portraits

Getting family together is tough with busy schedules. Also clothing selection is another hurdle. Your family is worth hiring a professional photographer to pose, light and work in an area that is complementary to your family. Also post production retouching and ordering from a professional lab will yield great results.

December Outdoor Portraits of Everett Family

The Everett Family needed updated portraits and chose outdoor location of old barns and farm buildings as

backdrops for their portraits. They dressed casually in jeans and black shirts with some white shirts. It is worth it to hire a professional at least once a year to photograph your family. In years to come you will cherish the family portraits that will last for generations.

Family and Children Portraits in the Studio

Kids are usually tricky to get great expressions either they don't want to look pleasant and smile or they are
shy and don't last long. It is usually a game for the child or children having fun either by something I do or one of the parents says. Usually you want a natural smile and relaxed expression from the subjects. Photo
retouching is a big part of a finished portrait as is appropriate lighting to show form of the faces and subject in general. There are plenty of new and inexperienced photographers who don't have a studio/backgrounds/
props or appropriate lighting to pull this setting off. Usually they exhibit a lack of control of the white balance, exposure, color saturation, lack of retouching and weak compostions. A lot of the new work is

pastel off color and blown out highlights that is mostly grab shots.

Preserve and Restore Old Photographs

Ms. Vinzant had an old family picture restored and printed to give as gifts to her family for Christmas. These kind of images have great sentimental value.

Bracey Outdoor Fall Portraits

The Bracey family was able to take advantage of some of the fall color in south Mississippi recently. They were able to pose for family portraits as well as couple and individual portraits of their son. We were able

to create a 4 pose panel of the sons portraits  and a composite of the favorite family, couple and sons portraits. We can create great pleasing well lite portraits in any outdoor location at a reasonable cost and with lasting value.
