Photography Darkroom Equipment Donation

We recently donated our darkroom setup which included enlargers, trays and other film developing equipment to the University of Southern Mississippi Photojournalism Department.

Save the Date "A Bridal Affair"

I will be judging the photography wedding vendors at the October 9, 2011 bridal show which includes 10 wedding photographer vendors. The competitors will enter prints in the photojournalism, traditional and fashion wedding categories. Marianne Todd of the Mississippi
Weddings Magazine will also be the other judge. Good luck to all of the competitors!

Sacred Heart School Photography

I have been photographing the Sacred Heart High School seniors since the high school was
created about 6 years ago. This year I have the privilege of photographing the elementary
school students and the rest of the high school students. This private Catholic school is growing
in the Hattiesburg, MS area. The school has a diverse ethnic and socioeconomic group.

Mid South Super Lawyers

Mid South Super Lawyers is featuring the firm of Carmody,Stewart and Mixon in the upcoming

issue. The Thomas Reuters Service of Newark, DE. is working to produce the ad.

Fender Bender Magazine

Fender Bender Magazine which is produced in St. Paul, MN. is featuring Richie's Collision Center

in Hattiesburg as a successful car body repair shop. The shop should be featured as editorial photography in the upcoming issue December 2011.

University of Southern Mississippi Gala

USM presented their 2010 Gala at the Lake Terrace Convention in Hattiesburg, MS to celebrate their 100 year anniversary. It was also a fundraiser for the university. Mike Lopinto directed the production which included many talented singers, dancers, lighting experts and orchestra and graphics experts. The whole show was a tribute to the 100 year history of USM in song, dance and narration. The story can be read in the September/October issue of Mississippi Magazine.
